HOLA! Welcome to the Newnan Spanish School, which is founded and operated by Diego Requena-Lopez, a native Spaniard with a degree in Bilingual Elementary Education from the University of Granada, and his wife Kelly Comfort, a Spanish professor at Georgia Tech with a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Davis. We raise our four-year-old son, Adrian, and one-year-old daughter, Alicia, in a bilingual English-Spanish household. We greatly enjoy teaching Spanish and look forward to the opportunity to instill a love of language and learning in you or your children through our fun and interactive Spanish curriculum.
We offer small group Spanish classes for children ages 5-10 at The Heritage School in Newnan on Wednesdays from 3:15-4:00 pm. Email us to register your children. Admission is rolling and you can sign-up any time. Space is limited to ten students.
The cost is $50 per month for four classes per month and includes all classroom materials and study aids.
We may add a second class at Heritage from 4:00-4:45 pm on Wednesdays, so let us know if your child can only make that time slot. Once we have five or more people interested, we will open the new class.
We also offer private and semi-private Spanish lessons and tutoring out of our home for children ages three and up as well as adults of all levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced). We can teach Medical Spanish for health care professionals as well.
Lessons for children are 45 minutes and prices vary from $20-$35 depending on the time of day and number of kids. All materials included in the price.
Lessons for adults are 60 minutes and prices vary from $20-$35 depending on the time of day and number of adults. All materials included in the price.
Medical Spanish classes are 90 minutes prices vary from $35-$50 depending on the time of day and number of students. We will teach on site at your medical office or facility. All materials included in the price.
